Description

Didn’t know what I was looking at when I found it, the thing was trying to crawl under my boot!
I took it home for pictures since I didn’t have any way to get good pictures on site
Returning it immediately after I post this observation.

Description

Lots of pictures, because I don't really know what I'm looking at here. Presumably this guy just recently morphed and color hasn't quite come in yet.

The color on the underside makes me think it's Eurycea bislineata, but the rest of the coloration makes me think Desmognathus fuscus.

Found under a rock at the edge of a stream.
