"Hover Fly" is a theoretical ID I've heard for this deceased insect found on Echinacea leaves growing wild in local park. Placed it right side up on plastic sheeting at home to inspect further.

This beautiful mystery 'shrub'(?) appeared about 7 years ago along the neighbors 6' privacy fence between them & open wild green space. Local co. here 2/'18 to remove a dead tree couldn't ID it either.
It definitely bears the purple-red bark w/a tiny white "nicks" pattern, flowers & fruits similar to other plants in the Prunus family.
We noticed the first fruits 2 summers ago, just a few dozen, & '19 had dozens more in addition. However, no one has seen ANY wildlife either pollinating or eating from it, & no one knows if they are safe for humans to eat from, either.
