An ink cap of some sort (Coprinus, Coprinellus - one of these I am guessing). Emergent from rotting branch lying across small tributary stream to the Kaipatiki. Fruiting body very delicate, c.45 mm long. Pileus dull grey to grey-blue, covered in fuzzy, warty lumps. Gills white on margins becoming darker due to inky black spores. Stipe blue-grey to white near base, covered in fine fuzzy scales.
