This Banksia was flowering on the side of the track. It contains golden coloured anthers and black styles that are hooked at the end. The leaves are also very narrow and are pale on the abaxial surface. I have IDed this plant as Banksia spinulosa.
This small plant contains dissected leaves that look very jagged. It was low growing and did not contain any reproductive structures at the time of observation. Using Les Robinson’s 2003 book “Field Guide to the Native Plants of Sydney”, I believe that this is Lomatia silaifolia.
NOTE: Scale on tubers of vine- possible biocontrol measure? If anyone knows how to add this to biocontrol project on inaturalist, please let me know!
