While we were having lunch at the Spring Ranch BioBlitz hosted by UNT SER & TWS, the ranchowner brought out a jar with a moth he captured the other night! He thought the moth had died, but turns out the fella was actually still alive! We freed the fella from the lab; Dr. Lichtenberg gave a small chunk of watermelon (though the moth was not interested), and the fella flew off a few minutes later!
Going with the iNat suggested ID. Looks different but I have no idea. I tried to save it after finding it in an abandoned cobweb
