Silver Wattle (Acacia dealbata)

Observer

angeloincitti

Date

February 19, 2019

Description

The tree was about 25 feet tall with a somewhat slender, branched trunk. The leaves are doubly pinnate with many small leaflets characterizing a single leaf. The flowers are small, yellow, ball-like structures (seemingly staminate) arranged in dense clusters all along the branches. The flowers were somewhat delicate, falling off the branch if not handled with care. The leaves were neither sticky nor strongly aromatic.
