I am thinking Cooper’s with the blocky head; thin streaking down the front; and note the tail feather set as graduated in length ; juvenile. Various angles to check the markers….
followed this Accipiter for about 15 minutes through the Nature Preserve as it would not allow me to get too close; on the last "stop" I was walking up slowly and maxing out the iPhone camera trying to get markers on head profile, tail feathers, and body shape....anyone who would propose 'straitus' (contra to this - I would understand)
