With Valeri Ponzo, hoping that Val could get great photographs of the Pacific Loon. Nobody else saw the loon today (the weather was no doubt a factor), but Val found it WAY OUT, south of the southwestern point of the park, probably in the shipping channel. The weather at the start was sunny, 67 degrees, and windy (from the north at 14mph, gusting to 27 mph). We left at 1746 and headed to DeRusso's Pizzeria for a delicious dinner.
