Additional comments? - Always seen in groups of 6-10. This bunch suddenly started babbling when a shikra alighted on a branch nearby in pursuit of some bird/small animal.
Nest present - No
How many? - 7-8
Seeing a wild leopard gecko was extremely cool!
Identified as E. macularius as there are too many bands for E. fuscus (which should have two) and E. satpuraensis (which should have three).
A rare documentation of cannibalism in the Indian/Spectacled Cobra (Naja Naja)!!! Both the predator and prey look like adult Indian cobras. My wife and I spotted it when the attack had already occurred and the prey had been partially swallowed. The two individuals stayed in this position for over an hour. I finally had to leave but I came back after two hours (around 8pm IST) and there was only one cobra visible then at the same location.
