Photographer: Duncan Robertson. There are a number of interactions in this series of photographs. First, the spider was hunting on this daisy - it was growing in the botanical garden section of Fernkloof Nature Reserve and unfortunately we did not photograph more of the plant to easily identify it. Second, there is the bee that the spider has captured. Third and forth, there are two different species of fly (Phoridae?) - a small one and then a big one on the bee. Lastly, at some stage when the spider went below the daisy, another spider, presumably a male of the same species, grabbed on to it below its abdomen.
