The frog was very much alive.
This is a rare species in Micronesia and is only known from a few locations. This one was from a small islet (Agrigan) just off the southern coast of Guam. The second photo shows what the habitat looks like.
Formerly Leucaena insularum var. guamense. In Asanite (As Aniti) Bay/First Beach area along trail. No fruit or flowers.
