Some type of native gecko. Looks like a Duvaucel

I think it's a grass skink, although the colouration is noticeably lighter than the other individuals near by.

Under fallen pine log in Pinus radiata forest

Poor dear has parasites on his private parts.

Presumably a gravid female due to its large belly

Red mites can be seen on the first photo

Atleast 6 in this particular crack

Brought inside a house by a cat.

About 6cm (from head to point where tail dropped off). Was already missing tail when discovered in house.

Skink lives in my tunnelhouse

Found on edge of large culvert. Great swimmer.
