Found in steppe habitat in the hills east of Cochrane. Individuals were around 20-25cm tall. Long green leaves that curl inward forming a half pipe shape with parallel venation. Three yellow petals, three longer sepals, both arraigned ~180° apart non-overlapping (petals and sepals mostly don’t overlap). The bottom petal is modified to have 6-7 ridges on the inside side. Inferior ovary goes down inside stem well below base of sepals. Reproductive stem is pollinium column as a labellum, protrudes up inside petals, stigma nested inside anther as green v shape below almond shaped tip, open on inside side with ridges on it. on labellum. Labellum is the same yellow color with linear maroon streaks parallel to the labellum.
