Low shrub on rocky outcrop in the coastal sage scrub habitat on Catalina. Leaves appear wooly. Inflorescence is a corymb of heads with both ray (outer ring) and disk flowers (inner).

Abaxial surface of leaves hairy, adaxial surface appears relatively hairless. Purple/lavender flowers very small compared to other species I've seen. Legume pods pubescent as well.
