A bushy light green lichen, mostly on dead branches of deciduous trees in Sandwich, MA. The large fruiting disks produce spores.

Common name is Bushy Beard Lichen.

Identification was kindly corrected by Bob Dirig, Curator of Lichens at Cornell University. He says they are common on Cape Cod, apparently due to the high humdity.
