Campylostachys helmei

In the absence of any real life pics I offer pics of the Type at NBG. Only known from a tiny population (<50 plts), in South Sonderend Sandstone Fynbos. Flowering Oct - Dec; plants to 50cm tall, a resprouter. Petals rounded, corolla 5 - merous. Hellish confusing species in this genus and in Stilbe, with plenty of undescribed variation, and the whole family really needs to looked at again in detail , including molecular data.
