Week 5 Journal Post

This week I went for a walk in the Griffith Park area. I walked around the park until I found some spots that were not part of the park proper, but rather part of the wildlife that the park was built around. I walked through a relatively flat area with lot of dirt and bark, and the area had a lot of different shrubs and grasses. The slope was facing east and there was no body of water nearby. I think I was in a grassland plant community. There was a lot of plant diversity and it amazed me what I was able to find by just looking.
