Diamond Bar Native Landscapes

The city of Diamond Bar is built upon historic, native landscapes: coast live oak woodland, prickly pear sage scrub, coastal sage scrub, native grassland, willow/black walnut woodland located in riparian and savannah areas. Diamond Bar Creek is an undisturbed freshwater wetland in the Steep Canyon area.

Over (20) locations of coast live oak/walnut woodland persist - tracing throughout the city, serving as green belts in both canyon and hillsides. Aerial views reveal connectivity persisting amidst developed areas.
