Chestnut Hill Resevoir

I went for a walk around the reservoir today to observe some organisms. As usual, there were a good amount of geese, ducks, and swans in the water. The geese were also congregating in the bank of the reservoir and on the pathway surrounding it. There were a handful of swans spread out in groups of two or three and some mallards mostly swimming on the perimiter of the water. There was some plant life as well that was surrounding the perimeter of the reservoir. They were small wildflower and ground cover type plants. There were some squirrels and chipmunks in the surrounding trees but I could not observe them before they ran away. The weather was sunny and relatively warm (~75 degrees) with a pretty strong breeze.
