A new record is added to the black scavenger fy fauna of Pakistan by the reportng of Meroplius minutus (Wiedemann, 1830), a rare species from Rawalakot, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. The genus is also a new record for the country. Diagnostc characters of both the genus and the species are provided in detail with the help of images. In additon, detailed distributon notes and informaton about their habitats are provided.

As a result of our study on the ant's fauna of Poonch district Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, one species of genus of Dorylus Fabricius, 1793 (D. orientalis Westwood, 1835) is reported for the first time from Azad Kashmir as new record for Pakistan. The photographs of the diagnostic characters, synonymy, distribution and habitats are briefly discussed.

The first comprehensive catalogue of the extant Neuropterida of Pakistan is presented, and the known distributions of all of these species from Pakistan are summarized. The fauna, as presently known, comprises 113 species in 63 genera and 11 families, but this certainly attributes to a significant under-representation of the true fauna. Eighteen species are presently known only from Pakistan and are possibly endemic. The biogeography and several related aspects of the fauna are discussed.
