Chironomids are generally a difficult group to ID. Feel free to tag me for help or information regarding Chironomids.

I generally avoid IDing uncropped observations containing different species in frame if its possible to crop them.

To increase the usefulness of your iNaturalist observations and allow researchers to use them. One can set the observation license to either No Copyright, Attribution, or Attribution Non Commercial. This will allow your observations to be exported to the GBIF. Observations and images under other licenses can not really be used by researchers without explicit permission. More info here.
