I have a life-long love of identifying & photographing plants & animals. In theory, I have some expertise with birds (life list 2500+) & have some done some research on frogs - but finding I have to relearn a lot to help with trickier iNaturalist IDs.

After many years of scuba diving without a camera and trying to ID fish & other life from memory & scrawled notes, I'm loving the luxury of IDing from digital images and so I'll be mostly posting observations of marine fish & inverts.

I'm Australian-based but my partner Lyn & I travel regularly to the coral triangle. Almost all of these are joint observations with Lyn and may actually be Lyn's photos. I also must acknowledge the dive guides and fellow divers who helped find many of these creatures.
