I am a relative neophyte to native plants of Virginia, North Carolina and New York and the wildlife they support. My mission is to share the beauty and benefits of native plants over non-natives and shift the conversation to ecologically functional landscaping.
I am a certified Master Naturalist in Fairfax County VA and I volunteer with the Audubon at Home program of the Audubon Society of Northern Virginia working to create wildlife habitat with native plants after the teachings of Dr. Douglas Tallamy and Bringning Nature Home. I am taking classes for a Native Plant Specialist certificate from UNC-Chapel Hill.
