Retired educator (High school biology) with more time to pursue photography, gardening and nature studies. As an amateur naturalist I am interested in birds, pollinators, mosses, inter-tidal inverts, Garry oak ecosystems, and etc etc. As a home gardener I am interested in producing quality food on a small urban lot, gardening with native plants, and in earth-friendly, sustainable practices in general. Trying to use my time and training (MA Environmental Education & Communication) to do good for the planet.
