I teach botany and plant ecology at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and study several locally rare plant species, including Euphorbia purpurea, Solidago speciosa, and Eurybia radula. Students and I also study whitetail deer impact and run a long-term project studying hemlock woolly adelgid population cycles and stand condition in Eastern hemlocks.
