I am a young ecologist interested in the intersections of academic research and citizen science, public education, resource management, and social justice.

I am currently a lead botany field technician with the NEON program (National Ecological Observatory Network, southern plains region). I studied Painted Bunting breeding ecology in north central Texas for my Master's degree at the University of North Texas, and have volunteered with passerine bird banding stations in the central flyway since 2016.

I have studied and worked in Texas prairie habitats since 2015 and am always looking to learn from fellow naturalists!
