Lifelong naturalist, I actively engaged in birding after graduating from Penn State in 1976. I took up falconry in the 80's and early 90's but had to give it up due to time constraints. Since 1990 I have been living on the North River near the confluence with the Deerfield River in Western Massachusetts.
