Hey there! my name is Gus, I am an undergraduate student studying in Maine with a focus on ecology and biology. I've been a plant lover since birth, focusing a lot of my time on learning about the environment around me. Enamored with the beauty of life.

Some of my special interests are taxonomy and phylogeny, epiphytes, speciation derived from intense environmental pressure, invertebrates and paleoecology.

Most of my naturalist experience is from exploring the Connecticut river valley in the foothills of Western Massachusetts. Exploring Downeast Maine is my next venture.
