I'm a landowner in Madison Co., Iowa doing a prairie and oak savanna restoration on 117 acre farm. I am adjacent to Pammel State Park over looking Middle River. The landscape is hilly with mixed forest, savanna, and a few prairie remnants. I am having a ball watching new species of flowers, plants, insects, birds, and animals appear as the land is healing. I have much to learn, so I'm hoping I-naturalist will help with that.
