I'm a herpetologist interested in all aspects of the biology of amphibians and reptiles. I spent 25 years working in a major zoological collection (Houston Zoo) and also worked as a Research Field Associate at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (Pittsburgh, PA) since the early 1970's. I travel extensively to photograph herpetofauna in the wild and have amassed a large photographic library of amphibians and reptiles (3000+ species). During my research trips I began a collaborative partnership with several parasitologists and have co-authored numerous scientific publications describing many new species of parasites.
