I’m a bat enthusiast who dabbles in many taxa. These last few summers I have been fortunate to roam BC working on the
BC Parks iNaturalist Project

  • 10x21 UV/LED Loupe held up to an iPhone 8
  • Canon 5dmk4 with a Yashica 100mm lens attached to a small extension tube + a Raynox M-250 adapter and a Kuangren KX-800 flash (spent a summer around Thomas Barbin and he got me hooked on insect macro)
  • Long lens setup is a very dusty/superglued Tamron 150-600mm on a 6D
  • OMAX 40X-2500X LED Trinocular Compound Microscope with AmScope DSLR adapter
