I have worked for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation since 1992. I worked as a biologist in the area west of Tulsa the first 20 years of my career. I have been the central region supervisor since 2011. Most of my observations are plants found on Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) in the central portion of Oklahoma. I have a few observations of vertebrates and invertebrates from these WMAs as well.

I am neither a novice or an expert on plant ID. I do know a lot of the plant species that are present in the Cross Timbers portion of Oklahoma. I have a good knowledge on the wildlife value of the most common plants in OK. I am always trying to learn, and I find this app to be an excellent tool for me to enhance my plant ID skills.
