I'm a raptor ecologist, ornithologist, conservationist and birder. I am conducting a long-term population ecology study of the Swallow-tailed Kite, estimating survival rates of marked individuals and monitoring nests for productivity in Louisiana and Mississippi. I am currently compiling Gray-bellied Hawk observations in Central America for a research project and paper. Please send me your observations! I serve on the Board of the Raptor Research Foundation and I am President of the Orleans Audubon Society. I am also an adjunct in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.
