I studied physics in school and had a career in IT, but now that I am retired I am enjoying strengthening my connection with the natural world. I volunteer at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, engaging with visitors in the Ocean Hall and Q?rius. I first heard of iNaturalist from the "Life in One Cubic Foot" exhibit at the museum, and then again in recruitment for the upcoming BioBlitz. I enjoy travel and photography and working with the iNaturalist community has me very excited about taking more pictures of nature.
