Nature has been my thing for as long as I can remember. In my spare time, you can find me outside taking field notes. I focus on the fungi, wondering about their specific roles in our ecosystem and how they grow, thrive, and reproduce. They are fascinating. I also consider myself a birder, and am curious about the behavior of birds and their migration patterns. If I am home, I'm likely working on Beethoven's Sonata No. 17 in D minor, Opus 31, #2 Largo-Allegro (Der Sturm). Or reading a biography. Or making your favorite butter shortbread cookies. Respect the wilderness and bask in the glow of its beauty!
