I've been a life long naturalist without really knowing what it was. I have always loved the outdoors and exploring everything in nature. My dad had mushroom and insect identification books on our bookshelf growing up, they were my favorites. My sister stumbled across eBird in 2019 which sent us on a journey of becoming avid birders. I recently joined my county's chapter of Master Naturalists and learned how to better utilize iNaturalist.
