I went to school to become a librarian. I did not study zoology, botany, entomology, ornithology or any other kind of biology outside a high school education. That has not stopped me from being incredibly curious about the world around me. I'd gather corals and shells at the beach. I'd turn over rocks to see what was underneath. I'd capture the spider from my brother's room and feed it insects before letting it go. Now I have decided to document my observations of the world around me.

I try to take audio recordings when I can. If I post without a picture, it is because I could not locate the source of the sound. If my taxonomy is incorrect, please assist me in correcting it. One of the roles of a Librarian is to promote Lifelong Learning and I practice what I promote.
