I have been birding for longer than I want to admit (over 30 years). I have been a bird guide for The Biggest Week in American Birding in NW OH, Midwest Birding Symposia (at Lakeside, OH), at The Wilds for The Ohio Ornithological Society, and on Jet Express trips from Port Clinton, OH, to Pt. Pelee, Ontarion, CAN. I have volunteered with OOS, USFWS, Black Swamp Bird Observatory, and Summit County Metro Parks.
