Naturalists from Vancouver Island. Have been working on insect identification as a hobby since the early 2000's - primarily on Vancouver Island.

Most of our photos have already been posted on Bug Guide. In the case of moths, they are also on E-Fauna and have been reported to the Pacific Northwest website.

We are re-posting on iN in order to link into the BC Lepidoptera list and to provide a permanent geographic record. At this point, mainly posting one representative photo on iN for each species, although for the Alberni Valley where we live, we have multiple records for many species which occur here regularly. If anyone needs a range of occurrence dates for any given species, please let me know!
