Energy Elements facilitates healthy lifestyle experiences that Nurture through Nature. Bridging her corporate wellness experiences and the natural world, Sandy has found a niche in connecting people with places and experiences that enhance natural energy healing. A practice and study she has coined “Health, Hospitality and Tourism”. As a Forest Therapy Guide, she’s an ANFT Certified guide teaching the practice of Forest Bathing to all abilities, ages and groups in and near Acadia National Park, Downeast Maine, USA and beyond.
As a Wellness Coordinator for LLBean, Sandy coordinated “The Best Ever” Outdoor Experience Day for over 200 staff. She was active in the LLBean Outdoor Club hiking, paddling and bicycling trips throughout Maine. She also worked as a Quality Coach, teaching and guiding staff in best customer service practices and was nominated multiple times for the honorary “Beans Best” award. She also coordinated the Wellness Fair for Husson University.

Outdoor adventures, learning and experiences have guided Sandy by nurturing through nature in her own life journey.

Sandy has been hiking since childhood when her father piqued her passion in the White Mountains on his back climbing Lafayette. Love of hiking has continued through her life, more recently section hiking the Appalachian Trail where she acquired her trail name: “Hummingbird” for her fast pace.

The forest is the therapist. It is a sanctuary which provides restoration, peace, joy and harmony for all who slow down and be present with it.
