I am an entomologist, specializing in tropical weed biological control. I spent over 25 years with the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, working on weeds such as Lantana camara, Chromolaena odorata, Mikania micrantha, as well as numerous cactus species. I also spent 15 years at CSIRO working on Mimosa pigra, Sida acuta and numerous aquatic species.

My research has allowed me to see various weeds and their biological control agents throughout the Pacific and Asia and some parts of Africa.
