I am currently living in Southwest Montana, where I have resided most of my life. I have an interest in many groups, with my primary passion focused on Birds, Odonates (Dragonflies and Damselflies) and more recently, Tiger Beetles (Cicindelinae.) Some part time work in field biology - monitoring birds in reclaimed areas, and since 2008, much (citizen science) work toward better understanding the distribution of Odonates throughout the vast state of Montana. I enjoy nature photography and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained in these endeavors – leading several trips into the field for interested parties. At present, I am an active member of the Montana Bird Records Committee, a regional reviewer for eBird, and a regional administrator for OdonataCentral.
