I am interested in mycology, ecology, evolution, and fungal secondary metabolites, immersing myself in wild places and cultivating a visceral attachment thereto. You can find me haunting the woods of the ADKs and the PNW, stalking charismatic macrofungi. Some taxa of particular interest to me include Tolypocladium, Ophiocordyceps, and other genera in Ophiocordycipitaceae. I am presently a grad student at Oregon State studying fungal secondary metabolism. I voucher most of my fungal collections.
