I am a certified volunteer steward at Theodore Stone Forest Preserve in Cook County, IL, a 140-acre site with remnant prairie, morainal oak woodland, and wetland habitats. These ecosystems support 385 native plant species along with abundant wildlife. New flora and fauna have been discovered here every year and documented on iNaturalist. [2013 Chicago Wilderness Conservation Award]

I am also a member of the Illinois Native Plant Society, the Dragonfly Society of America, Habitat 2030, the Cook County Stewardship Council Steering Committee, and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Key Stewards.
