I am a retired elementary school teacher and administrator. I have been successful with landscaping to attract bird and butterflies to my small yard in Culver City, CA, and generally enjoy urban wildlife. Currently participating in SuperProject3, a survey of urban wildlife in LA sponsored by the Natural History Museum. Through this project I've been able to join three recent bioblitz days. I enjoy birding in the Baldwin Hills, Ballona Wetlands and various sites in the South Bay.
