I have always loved nature, and after receiving a B.S. in Life Science, I got a Master's Degree in wildlife biology. I love all wildlife, but my main focus is on birds. In addition to birds, I have professionally worked with bats, as well as several invertebrate classes (including freshwater bivalves and myriapods). I have written about all kinds of wildlife for jobs with nonprofits and state governments, but I most enjoy being outside, birding/wildlife watching.
