The Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre (SKCDC) manages a provincial database for gathering, interpreting and distributing standardized information on the ecological status of provincial wild species.

We focus on mapping locations of species of concern, maintaining taxa lists of organisms known to occur within Saskatchewan (currently we have over 9000 taxa and counting!), assigning conservation ranks (measure of vulnerability of the organism of becoming extirpated) to each of these taxa, and providing this data to those that need it.
