I have been an amateur naturalist in the US and Australia since 1979. I have mainly focussed on plants in the US and Australia until 2014 when I began my interest in moths as well. I currently use a number of light traps, Mercury Vapour Lamp and Actinic Lamps which I use routinely in Tasmania. I have almost 10 years data on moth species at one location and intend to be able to do counts as well in future, after I identify most of my photos.

I have photographed moths in Florida since 2015 as well.

I have photographed Wildflowers in Florida, Colorado, Montana and Utah as well as in all states in Australia, except the Northern Territory.

I principally use macrophotography techiques with my moth photos.
