I'm a wildlife biologist and environmental educator, living in western North Carolina. My special interests are birds and native plants. I work with Southern Appalachian Raptor Research, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of birds in the southern Appalachians through monitoring, education and field research.
