As a child, my mom often took me on nature walks naming all the plants and animals we saw along the way. This early exposure to nature led me to complete a BS degree in Biology/ecology. Unfortunately, my career led me in a direction that has nothing to do with my love of nature. I still try to spend time in nature as much as I can and have passed my naturalist spirit to my children.
